Around 0230 hours on Sunday, December 26, S-O.V.F.C. was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident near the entrance of Eagle Rock Resort. Upon arriving on scene, Engine 9-10 found a car on it's roof in a small creek. The driver was not in the car. 9-10 stayed on scene to help with traffic control and removing the car from the creek.

Around 1700 hrs. on Christmas Day, Sheppton-Oneida Vol Fire Company, Nuremberg EMS, and Medic 23 were dispatched to the area of the Cove Village for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Engine 9-10 arrived on scene to find a vehcile on it's side. The victims received minor injuries and were treated by QRS personel.

At approximately 23:55 hours on Tuesday, December 13, S-O.V.F.C. was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Once signed on with county control, Engine 9-10 was notified that this accident was going to have an ejected occupant. Arriving on scene, a rapid assessment was given and the decision to transport the patient by Life Flight helicopter was given. Squad 9-70 and Tanker 9-30 handled setting up the landing zone for Life Flight 1.

During the first snowfall of the year, S-O.V.F.C. was dispatched to an accident which turned out to be an abandoned vehicle. Around an hour later, we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident just north of Sheppton on Route 924. Engine 9-10 arrived on scene to find a car into a tree, partially on the roadway.

Around 1900 hrs. on Dec. 8, the house siren atop the firehouse began sounding. Members responded to station to learn of a reported vehicle fire on Route 924 just North of Sheppton. Engine 9-10 and Squad 9-70 promptly responded to find a fully involved pick-up truck. A foam line was taken off 9-10 and extinguished the fire.

Sheppton-Oneida Fire Company was dispatched at 06:30 hours along with Nuremberg EMS and Shenandoah ALS for a Motor Vehicle Accident with entrapment on Route 924. Engine 9-10 arrived on scene to find a vehicle on it's side with no entrapment and no injuries.

During the summer of 2004, Nuremberg EMS, Sheppton QRS, and Hazleton Community Ambulance were dispatched into the Cove Village for a fall victim. Once signing on with county control, Squad 9-70 was notified this would be a motorcycle accident. Upon receiving this information, 9-70 notified county to put our station on standby to set up a landing zone for Life Flight. After arriving on scene the decision was made to land Life Flight. Engine 9-10 responded in emergency mode, set up the landing zone, and landed Life Flight. The patient was transferred into the care of the flight crew and Life Flight took off.
