On July 16, Sheppton-Oneida QRS, Ringtown Ambulance, and Medic 23 were dispatched to Pol Rd. for a traumatic injury. County informed S9-70 this would be a motorcycle accident. After arrival on scene, pt. was flown to a trauma center via Life Flight. E9-10 handled the LZ.

On July 14, SOVFC, Brandonville Fire, Mahanoy City - West End, and Shenandoah ALS were dispatched to the area of 143 Main Blvd. for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. E10 arrived on scene to find negative entrapment. Rescue 993 was cancelled. One pt. was transported via Medic 64.

On June 16, 2005, SOVFC and Nuremberg BLS were dispatched to SR924 on the Sheppton mountain for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. E10 went responding and arrived on scene to find a three car MVA with a minor injury.

On June 2, 2005, at 14:58, SOVFC, Brandonville Fire, Shenandoah ALS, Luzerne Medic 23, and Ringtown Ambulance were dispatched to 463 Green Mountain Road for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. SOVFC arrived on scene to find a one car MVA, pick-up vs tree with two injuries. Ringtown E672 was dispatched to assist with setting up a Landing Zone. Patients were transported to trauma centers via two Life Flight Helicopters.

On May 27, 2005, at 15:21, SOVFC, Brandonville Fire, and Shenandoah ALS were dispatched to SR 924 in the area of Harry's Gas Station for a Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries. E9-10 and S9-70 arrived on scene to find a car vs pick-up, with the patients being treated by Medic 64. Crews swept some debris and assisted with traffic control.

On May 11, 2005, at 00:08 hours SOVFC, Brandonville Fire, and Shendandoah ALS were dispatched to SR 924 for an MVA with entrapment. E9-10 arrived on scene to find a Dodge SUV rolled over onto it's side with the pt. trapped in the cargo capartment. E9-10 stabilized the vehicle and spread the rear door to extricate the victim. While enroute to the scene, Brandonville E9-14 was redirected to set up a landing zone for MedEvac 1.

On January 3, 2005, around 23:00 hours SOVFC was dispatched along with Shenandoah ALS for a MVA. Units arrived on scene to find a pick-up truck vs a tree.

Earlier in the year, members from SOVFC, West Hazleton, Nuremberg/Weston, and Hazle Twp. took part in an aerial operations class. Firefighters learned about ladder trucks, techniques using the ladders, and how to flow water through them.

On April 18, 2005, SOVFC was dispatched along with Nuremberg Ambulance and Luzerne Medic 23 for a MVA with injuries. From personel on scene, Squad 9-70 was requested due to the injuries. S9-70 arrived on scene to find two patients injured, S9-70 then requested air medical for both. E9-10 took care of the landing zone and landed two birds.

On April 10, 2005, SOVFC was dispatched along with Brandonville FC, Shenandoah ALS, and Mahanoy City West End to Route 924 for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. E9-10 arrived on scene to find a car with heavy damage but negative entrapment. Patient was transported to Shenandoah Helipad and then flown to a trauma center.

Around 22:50 hours on Febuary 27th, fire units were dipatched back to Trailer Road for a re-kindle. After coming out of Sheppton, units could see flames while coming down the mountain. Arriving on scene units found heavy fire showing from the upstairs windows. Immediately mutual aid was requested as was the tanker task force. The fire was knocked down with an immediate interior attack. The interior attack was defeated at the ceiling came down. Hand lines and Telesquirt 9-20 were put into use. With the use of the master streams from 9-20 and Tower 456, the fire was brought under control. We would like to thank all companies who assisted us at the scene. Companies at the scene were: Sheppton-Oneida, Brandonville, Union Twp, Mahanoy City - Citizens, Mahanoy City - Good American (tanker), Shenandoah - Polish American(tanker), Shenandoah Heights, Ringtown, Aristes (tanker), Ryan Twp. (tanker), Nuremberg/Weston (tankers), Harwood (tanker), and Hazle Twp. (tanker).

Around 17:20 hours on Febuary 27th, Sheppton-Oneida, Brandonville, and Union Twp. Fire Companies were dispatched to Trailer Rd, East Union Twp on a reported structure fire. County advised that it would be a working structure fire. E 9-10, Truck 9-20, Tanker 9-30, and Squad 9-70 responded. Upon arrival they found fire showing from two rooms. Fire was quickly brought under control and hot spots were doused. Units were later dispatched to a re-kindle.

Early on Sunday, Febuary 27th, S-O.V.F.C. was dispatched to the area of the Brandonville Fire Company for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Engine 9-10 and Squad 9-70 responded with full crews to find a vehicle off the roadway. The vehicle hit a telephone pole, and the driver sustained no injuries.

On Febuary 24, 2005, S-O.V.F.C. was advised of a MVA Rollover on 924 with no injuries. Squad 9-70 responded for traffic control.

On Febuary 17, 2005, Sheppton-Oneida Vol. Fire Company, Brandonville Fire Company and Union Twp. Fire Company were dispatched to a vehicle fire on the pole line in East Union Township. Upon arriving on scene, S-O.V.F.C. found a SUV in the middle of the pole line on fire. With no possible way of getting any apparatus close to the vehicle, it had to burn out itself. After making sure all fire was out, all units were cleared.

On January 6, 2005, Sheppton-Oneida QRS, Nuremberg EMS, and Medic 23 were dispatched into the Humbolt West Industrial Park for a fall victim on the ice. Upon arrival QRS personel decided the patient would be transported via air medical. S-O.V.F.C was dispatched to set up a landing zone for Life Flight.

S-O.V.F.C. was dispatched at the request of Hazle Twp. Fire to respond to a commercial structure fire at Hershey Foods in Humbolt. Engine 9-10 responded and hooked up to a hydrant. Truck 9-20 was used as an escape for the company venting the roof.

Around 0230 hrs. on 1/1/05, S-O.V.F.C., Nuremberg EMS, and Medic 20 were dispatched to Eagle Rock Resort for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Engine 9-10 arrived on scene to find a pick-up truck into a tree with no one around.

Around 2200 hrs. on 12/27/04, Sheppton-Oneida Vol. Fire Company, Brandonville Fire Company, and Shendandoah ALS were dispatched to the area of the BFC for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arriving on scene, Medic 64 requested air medical and Ringtown BLS for additional BLS patients. Engine 9-10 and Squad 9-70 arrived on scene and assisted with patient care and packaging.
